The Maryland State Department of Education has been notified that due to budget cuts in federal funding of education programs across the country, there will be no new awards made under the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program. We know that many students have an interest in this particular scholarship and we felt it was important to provide this information to you as soon as we received it.
