The goal of this section is to coordinate the principal assessment program School Leader's Licensure Assessment (SLLA) for Administrator II certification; the teacher assessment program Educational Testing Service (ETS), Praxis I: Reading, Writing and Mathematics and Praxis II: Content and Pedagogy and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language (ACTFL) tests select foreign language for initial teacher certification; the optional Reading Assessment for elementary education teachers; and technology performance assessments to assure teacher candidates are proficient in the Maryland Teacher Technology Standards.
