Role of the SICC in Maryland's Early Childhood Intervention System
- Advise and assist the State Lead Agency in the development and implementation of policies that constitue the statewide system.
- Assist the State Lead Agency in achieving the full participation, coordination, and cooperation of all appropriate public agencies in the State.
- Assist the State Lead Agency in the effective implementation of the statewide system.
- To the extent appropriate, assist the State Lead Agency in the resolution of disputes.
- Advise and assist the State Lead Agency regarding the provision of appropriate services for children ages birth through five.
