Step 4.1

Step 4.1:  Describe your plan for collecting data on implementation of the professional development activity you are planning.

 

         The first part of your evaluation plan should focus on the implementation of the activity that you are planning.  In particular, you should focus on answering the following three questions:  Did the activity include the intended participants?  Did the various learning activities and follow- up take place as planned?  Did all of the participants in all of the components of the activity, including follow up?  If the answer to any of these questions is no, you should be prepared to explain why.

 

        If you developed the management plan discussed in Planning Tip 6, which appeared above in Step 3, you can use the plan to guide your thinking about how to track implementation of the activity that you are planning.

 

 

Use this space to briefly describe how you will answer the three questions about implementation as well as any other questions that think are important help you understand the extent to which implementation was successful.
