Register Now for Late Spring Online Courses!

Through the eLearning for Educators program, MSDE and Maryland Public Television are partnering to offer quality online courses to help educators meet their professional growth and certification needs. This spring’s online courses provide a different and convenient path for teachers who want to deepen their content knowledge, pedagogical expertise, and technology integration skills. Many of the courses offered carry Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit; some carry an option for graduate credit.

Just added to our late-spring line-up is an online course for early childhood educators (Grades PreK-2) who are interested in nurturing and challenging every child’s potential for higher level thinking, creativity, and problem solving. Interested? Check out the details on page 3 in our Late Spring 2013 courses list! Click on the link below to see the list—then register promptly. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants.

Online courses can be a good solution for educators who:

  • Find it hard to participate in after-school and evening courses due to childcare arrangements, after-school activity responsibilities, and other "real life" factors
  • Prefer the convenience of learning at whatever hours their schedule permits
  • Prefer online learning to face-to-face learning environments
  • Have good time management skills and work well independently

To learn more about the courses offered this spring, click on this link! Late Spring Online Course List (Updated April 5, 2013).
