Description:  This course helps physical education teachers increase their knowledge of adapted PE, with special focus on federal and state legislation, assessment tools for determining whether a student qualifies for adapted PE, and goal-setting and report writing.

The Gifted Learner

Description:  This survey course in gifted education provides an overview of the unique, brain-based learning characteristics of gifted students K – 12 and the instructional models that address their needs in core academic areas and the arts. The synthesis project is a differentiated GT curriculum unit in a relevant content/grade level.  Participation is completely online.  Required Course Text:  Sousa, D.A. (2009).
