Youth Development Branch
Youth Development Definition Youth Development facilitates the growth of school-aged learners into active, caring citizens with the will and capacity to contribute positively to their local and global communities.
Vision All Maryland youth will develop the will and capacity to act as positive, productive citizens engaged in their community.
Mission The Youth Development Branch provides resources and technical assistance to local school systems, the community (including non-profit and faith-based organizations), and students to facilitate the engagement of school-aged learners in programs and activities that promote independence and productivity and that develop character and civic responsibility.
