WHO: State Superintendent of Schools Nancy S. Grasmick
WHAT: The Dictionary Project, a national effort spearheaded in Maryland by the Rotary Club of Baltimore, donates dictionaries to third grade public and private school students. The Rotary Club of Baltimore is in the midst of donating to students throughout the state, including 6,250 in Baltimore City alone.
Dr. Grasmick will join Rotary Club volunteers as they deliver dictionaries to Cecil Elementary and provide students with a brief program giving the students tips on how to effectively use the reference books to become better readers and writers.
