| STATE BOARD UNVEILS ADVERTISEMENT IN SEARCH FOR NEXT STATE SUPERINTENDENT |

The Maryland State Board of Education has released the advertisement for the next State Superintendent of Schools.
The ad will be placed in various publications and circulated nationwide.
The ad is based on the leadership profile compiled with the input from Board members, parents, staff, students, and the community. They were developed through a series of regional meetings, interviews, and an online survey. Work was coordinated by consultants at Hazard, Young, Attea, and Associates, the firm hired to assist in the search.
