The curriculum at EXCEL Academy is an exemplary college preparatory curriculum.  EXCEL uses the internationally recognized and approved Calvert Curriculum from the Calvert School, a private school in Baltimore.  To ensure reading achievement for our students, EXCEL Academy uses the Literacy First Process in its reading program.  Character education, art, music, Spanish, health, physical education, and technology will also be a part of the culture and the learning at EXCEL Academy.  Each class will have no more than 25 students.  A strong culture of parental participation in school operations and governance is also a part of EXCEL Academy.
