Turning Point Academy is a place of self-discovery and challenge, where every student is capable of excellence regardless of his or her innate ability. Turning Point Academy maintains a student-centered culture that motivates character development and emphasizes curiosity, courage, concern, integrity and leadership. Turning Point uses the “Hyde process”, developed for over thirty-five years at boarding campuses in Maine, and Connecticut, is built on the belief that every person has a unique potential and larger purpose in life, and character growth is key to exposing that potential and purpose. We are a college preparatory school that focuses on the “academic excellence” as well as “excellence in character.” 

Ultimately, our goal is to prepare your child for college and to prepare them to live their lives according to standards of personal excellence!
