2005 Milken National Educators from Maryland were honored by the Maryland State Board of Education on January 24, 2006. Honorees Kelly Smith of Baltimore County and Alex Jaffurs of Calvert County are each pictured with Superintendent Nancy Grasmick, State Board Vice President Dunbar Brooks, their superintendents Joe Hairston and Ken Horsmon, their principals and other State Board Members. Family members were also present to celebrate with the honorees.
