Radhika Plakkot, Biology Teacher

Mrs. Radhika Plakkot is a National Board Certified Teacher who teaches AP Biology and Biology at Huntingtown high school in Calvert County. She is the recipient of several educational grants from organizations like Chesapeake Bay Trust and MICCA. She is an AP Reader for the College Board. She served as a member of the State Biology Voluntary Curriculum Writing Team. She received the 2006 SMECO outstanding science teacher award. Ms. Plakkot is the biology collaborative team leader, a member of the National Honor Society advisory committee, and sponsors biomedical club at her school. She conducts/presents in various staff development activities at county and state level.
