Bonnie Beavan, Mathematics, 8th grade

Bonnie Beavan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Studies at St. Mary’s College and her Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from the College of Notre Dame. Her personalized approach to meeting the needs of each and every one of her students shows as she helps many students that have never experienced academic success soar to new heights. Ms. Beavan’s dedication to children is evident through her work as a school AAU basketball coach. She also works with the Boys and Girls Club, volunteers for Young Life, supervises the school’s PBIS program announcing sporting events at Leonardtown High School. She is a mentor teacher, and conducts classroom modeling for the county’s new teachers.
