Queen Anne’s County – Centreville Elementary School

Karey Anne Coppage, a graduate of Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania is two classes away from earning her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Salisbury University. Some of her most fulfilling experiences have been in special education, where she has worked with children facing numerous physical and mental challenges. Yet, she still finds the time to take a leadership role on a variety of committees and teams, such as: the School Improvement Team, Instructional Consultation Team, Special Education Leadership Team, and Maryland Coalition for Inclusive Education Team. She co-authored two articles for “Promising Partnership Practices,” a publication by John Hopkins University and an Internet website called “Education World.”
