Kristin Covaleskie received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Goucher College. She has been a teacher in the Baltimore City Public School system since 1996 and has taught all grades, kindergarten through fourth grade. Ms. Covaleskie states, “my pride in who I am as an educator lies in the performance of my students within their school and greater community and their respect for one another.” She has been an after school academy teacher, a mentor teacher for student interns, Chairperson for the School Improvement team, and resident advisor for the Baltimore City Teaching Residency.
