Melissa McFayden, Pre-Kindergarten

Melissa McFayden received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama and her Master of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, Maryland. Ms. McFayden began her teaching career in Caroline County in 2001, nine years after working in the airline industry. She serves as a mentor and an active member of the Positive Behavior Intervention Strategy Committee and the School Improvement Team. She is a candidate for National Board Certification. Melissa says, "Teaching is a way of life for me. I'm a teacher at home, at school, and in my community."
