K-12 Service-Learning Standards for Quality Practice  The article that appeared in Growing to Greatness 2008 details the results of intensive work to create and support nationally recognized standards for service-learning. It includes a bibliography of their research and sources.

Can Service-Learning Help Reduce the Achievement Gap?PDF This article takes a look at the research that supports service-learning as an effective instructional strategy for low-income students.

The Generator, August 2007 This publication includes a draft of the K-12 Service-Learning Standards for Quality Practice as well as several wonderful articles about quality service-learning.
