Teen Pregnancy Prevention Overview


Health Education

The Maryland State Department of Education utilizes multiple approaches to address teen pregnancy prevention.  Comprehensive school health education includes instruction that complies with the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 13A.04.18.01-.02.  The goals of comprehensive health education curriculum are listed in COMAR 13A.04.18.02.  To view the goals click on this link.
