Parent/Guardian Placement/LRE/complainant requsting less restrictive, Reimbursement
Decision Summary
____________

The ALJ concluded that the IEP and placement by the local school system was reasonably calculated to receive educational benefit in the least restrictive environment for the 2015-2016 school year. The ALJ further concluded that the parent was barred by the statute of limitations from seeking relief for the 2013-2014 school year. The ALJ also determined that the parent did not provide the required notice of the intent to seek reimbursement for a unilateral placement for the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 schol years and was therefore not entitled to reimbursement for the cost of the student's private school tuition fo those years.
