Remote Learning Portal: Earn Credits While You Learn

During the pandemic, teachers were faced with delivering instruction remotely. After engaging many educators about their experiences, MSDE was able to identify the most troublesome areas related to synchronous or blended teaching and learning. The result is the PL for Remote Teaching Portal that is filled with supporting professional learning webinars/courses/activities that have been contributed by Maryland’s local school systems, individual educators, and quality educational organizations. This platform offers over 60 short modules in which teachers can participate. Using the Professional Learning Program for Maryland Educators will allow for the collection of hourly points to eventually convert into Continuing Professional Development credits.
