The Charge: To establish Trauma Informed approach guidelines for local school systems and schools so that the adults in school community are prepared to recognize and respond to those students who have been impacted by traumatic stress. Those adults include: administrators, teachers, staff, and parents.

Outcomes:

  • Review Guidelines on Trauma Informed Approach (House Bill 277); and
  • Propose recommendations to develop Trauma Informed Guidelines.
