Please be prepared to submit documentation verifying that you have met the requirements below:
Meet the requirements for licensure as a teacher of the deaf and hard of hearing.
Master's degree from an institution of higher education with at least one course in administrative and supervisory techniques and one course in curriculum development.
Three semester hours or three State-approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits in special education coursework.
One of the following:
Three years of successful teaching experience with the hearing impaired, or
Four years paid experience or its equivalent in a school setting with 2 years of successful teaching experience with the hearing impaired.
