SPECIAL NOTICE: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Tuesday, April 6, 2021 meeting of the State Board of Education will be conducted entirely via livestream, and there will be no public access to the Nancy S. Grasmick State Education Building, 200 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Please note the meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. State Board members and presenters will participate in the virtual meeting, and members of the public will be able to hear the audio and see presentations in real time. Members of the public will be able to hear and view the livestream of the meeting in real time via the teleconference livestream below. Agenda items have been condensed to include only those items that require State Board action at this time. The State Board of Education is pleased to receive public comment via telephone at each of its virtually-hosted meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to allow the State Board sufficient time for its other business, the total time allotted to public comment will generally be limited to thirty (30) minutes. Individuals seeking to speak to the Board will be given three (3) minutes each. Persons desiring to speak to the State Board, must call (410-767-0467) or e-mail (stateboard.msde@maryland.gov) the Board office no earlier than one week prior to the meeting to register to speak. Registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
