Vision
Every Maryland student will master mathematical procedural skills; develop conceptual understandings and the ability to apply those understandings in solving real world problems at a level needed to fulfill personal goals and become a productive member of a global society.
Mission
Provide leadership, technical assistance, guidance and support to local school systems as they work to improve continually the teaching and learning of mathematics.
What's New
Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, students will take the MCAP Mathematics assessments. These new assessments will measure a student's ability to solve multi-step problems that require reasoning and address real-world situations Maryland Mathematics Assessments.
