MSDE Approved Foreign Transcript Evaluation Agencies

​The Maryland State Department of Education does not have the resources to determine degree and course credit equivalencies from institutions outside the United States or to translate foreign credentials. Credits from institutions in other countries shall be evaluated for comparability of degree and course work by an independent agency authorized to analyze foreign credentials. A course-by-course evaluation using original documents is required.

In addition to the list below, agencies that hold membership with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc. or the Associate of International Credentials Evaluators are recognized by MSDE.

Below is a list of agencies designated by the Maryland State Department of Education to provide this service. The following private agencies provide foreign credential evaluation services for varying fees:
