Grant programs in performance period reflect grant programs that are not currently accepting applications but are currently in implementation phase. These programs may be at different stages of implementation based upon the type of grant program and the length of the grant program. MSDE maintains grant pages for grants in performance period as a resource for current grantees and for public transparency. These programs do not include open grant application windows for formula programs (e.g., Title I). MSDE Federal Formula Grant programs are federal programs administered by MSDE in which funds for each local education agency are determined by a mandated federal formula calculation. Federal formula programs are only available to eligible applicants that meet federal program criteria. In most cases, these programs are only open to local education agencies.
