The Judy Center Early Learning Hub grant promotes child development and enhances school readiness by developing and expanding Judy Center Early Learning Hubs. These early learning hubs employ collaborative approaches to provide high-quality comprehensive, full-day early childhood programming and family support services.
The Judy Center Grant program is a competitive grant administered by the Division of Early Childhood at the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). It provides funding for local school systems to establish additional Judy Centers.
Grant funds must be used to serve children ages birth through five and their families by providing comprehensive early care and education services to promote continuous improvement toward school readiness. Judy Centers must be located in high-need communities and serve all children and families living within the school's catchment area.
This funding opportunity is designed for local school systems (LSSs) to establish new Judy Centers.
