Title I, Part A – Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) for FY 2022-2024

The purpose of Title I is to provide all children the opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps. Title I, Part A provides financial assistance to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to help ensure that all children are equipped to meet challenging academic standards.

Customer Service/Office Hours Support Session

The Title I Office at MSDE will hold a virtual customer service/office hours support session for applicants. During this session, Title I personnel will provide support and answer questions regarding completing the application. Registration for the sessions with the dates and a video call link will be provided in a separate communication.
