Supervisor of School Counseling

Please be prepared to submit documentation verifying that you have met the requirements below:

1. Meet the requirements for licensure as a school/guidance counselor;

2. Have 3 years of satisfactory performance as a school/guidance counselor;

3. Three semester hours or three State-approved Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits in special education coursework; and

4. Have 12 semester hours of graduate credit from an IHE in any of the following areas with at least 6 semester hours in school supervision or school administration:

   • Management

   • School supervision

   • School administration

   • Program development

   • Program evaluation
