General suicide intervention guidelines for schools:
Detect suicidal students.
Supervise the student.
Notify the student's parent.
Assess the severity.
Refer for community services (e.g., mental health, mobile crisis response, law enforcement, child protective services, etc.).
Provide follow-up at school.
