Decision Summary: The ALJ concluded that the school system complied with the IDEA regulations regarding eligibilliy for special education services and that the placement for the 2020-2021 SY did not deny a FAPE to the student. Therefore, the parent's request for reimbursement of tuition and placement at the non public school was denied.

In addition, the ALJ concluded that the parent non public placement was reasonbly calculated to enable the student educational benefits. As a result, the ALJ determined that reimbursement to the parent was due, for certain periods of time, for the cost of the nonpublic school placement.
