Education Policy Committee

Purpose

To monitor, advise, and make recommendations on all matters related to education policy, including but not limited to: academic performance, assessments, college and career readiness, curriculum, early childhood education, and educator certification. To review pending legislation that will impact the State Board and public schools in Maryland and provide advice and recommendations to the full Board on any necessary action, as well as develop an annual legislative agenda for the State Board.
