Vision

Empower all students to become informed, engaged, digital learners who are productive and responsible citizens of a global society.

Mission

Establish student-centered digital learning environments where students are empowered to think creatively and critically as engaged members of a learning community by building the capacity of our educators and providing equitable access to digital resources.

The Digital Learning and School Library Media Branch (DLSLM) supports state and national efforts to transform teaching and learning in a digital world.  Our office provides support to Local Education Agencies through the following programs:

• MSDE eConnect supports and enhances equitable personalized learning for Maryland students and educators using the Canvas Learning Management System.
