English language development program (e.g., ESOL, ESL, etc.)
Active English learners (ELs) in grades K-12, including ELs whose parents have refused ESOL services.
ACCESS for ELLs is a secure large-scale English language proficiency assessment administered to kindergarten through 12th grade students who have been identified as English learners (ELs). It is administered annually to ELs to monitor and report their progress toward English language proficiency and to monitor their progress in learning academic English. The test assess the four language domains of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
